John Weidner is an Environmental Health Specialist with 27 years experience regulating food, pool, and lodging establishments. He has five years experience working in American, Chinese, Greek, and Italian restaurants.
He began his career at 17 working in a quick serve restaurant in Munster, Indiana. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Indiana University at Bloomington, Indiana. He became a Certified ServSafe Instructor and Registered ServSafe Proctor in 2007. He earned his Registered Environmental Health Specialist (REHS) license in June 2010. He has worked in public health since June 24, 1996.
John’s area of expertise includes establishment audits and inspections, menu development, plan review, and staff training. He has been involved in new construction projects and renovations of existing facilities.
